Serging Lessons
A serger is an extremely useful machine for most sewing projects, but with its complicated threading mechanisms, it can be a little intimidating.

Sydenham Sewing's beginner and advanced level serger lessons take the mystery out of using this fantastic machine. From threading to managing the tension and differential feed to all the wonderful ways to use a serger, these lessons are fun and very informative!

Serging lessons at Sydenham Sewing's studio (near Williamsford, Ontario) take place with the same format and fees as my regular sewing lessons: as 8-hour courses over 4 weeks, or as one-on-one hourly tutorials. Students can bring their own serger or borrow mine. See contact details below.
Serging Workshops at GB Arts, Owen Sound
Many of my serger workshops take place at the Georgian Bay School of the Arts (GB Arts) in Owen Sound. GB Arts has a dedicated "Textiles Loft" for its sewing, weaving, spinning, felting, etc. workshops. They also have a number of sergers available to borrow for students taking the serging workshops.
To register, go to https://gbarts.ca/textiles/ and scroll down to the next serger workshop listing.
If you need to borrow a serger, be sure to tell them in the comments section.
